27th January 2008: Despite lots of dribbling, red cheeks, runny nose, and a few sleepless nights, Rachael still only has 2 teeth. Still, it's surprising what 2 teeth and a little determination can get through!
Rachael has finally started to respond to our efforts to teach her baby sign language - admittedly we were not as consistent with it as we could have been, but she does seem to be grasping the idea now - clapping her hands gets her 'more' (not quite the right sign, but close enough). Unfortunately, she thinks clapping her hands means everything else as well, so there is still some work to do!
She climbed all the way to the top of the stairs unassisted on Friday (with daddy right behind her all the way of course), so we now have stairgates at both ends of the stairs. Still a bit too cautious to try standing or walking without holding on to someone with both hands though.
Look what I can do!
